The Hyaenidae is a mammalian family of order Carnivora. The Hyaenidae family, native to both African and Asian continents, consists of four living species, the Striped Hyena and Brown Hyena (genus Hyaena), the Spotted Hyena (genus Crocuta), and the Aardwolf .

Born Sheffield, UK & emmigrated to Australia in 1987. An accountant by qualification,a tennis coach by choice & a photographer at heart. I have had a passion for photography for over 50 years both as a hobbyist, freelancer & a forensic photographer. In the days of film I had several exhibitions of my work in my home town. The majority of my photographs are taken whilst in pursuit of my recreational activities- bushwalking, cycling, birding, travelling & volunteer conservation work. My photographs are presented with minimal enhancement & manipulation to maintain originality. My endeavours are focused on producing work for calendars, cards & editorials/publications.
