Little is known of the fungi of Australia in comparison to plants. What is known is that fungi is an important part of the natural process & is as important as the plants,trees,shrubs & conditions it requires to survive & perform its designated purpose in soil regeneration & plant decomposition & as a food source for native fauna.

Born Sheffield, UK & emmigrated to Australia in 1987. An accountant by qualification,a tennis coach by choice & a photographer at heart. I have had a passion for photography for over 50 years both as a hobbyist, freelancer & a forensic photographer. In the days of film I had several exhibitions of my work in my home town. The majority of my photographs are taken whilst in pursuit of my recreational activities- bushwalking, cycling, birding, travelling & volunteer conservation work.
